Membership

The club is always on the lookout for new members, both experienced and novice. For membership details, please contact one of the following using our Contact Page:

We are a friendly group and meet principally on Wednesday evenings at our clubrooms in Belvedere. We also meet on Tuesday evenings for modelling and layout building.

To help our active 'project groups' we have set-up a multi-gauge test track (4 x OO/HO oval, 2 x N oval & 1 x O end-to-end). All tracks can be switched to operate on either DCC and DC.

The Society also has Hainault Junction (4 x OO oval) being used as a test track, which operates on DC.

All test tracks are available for all members to bring and test/run their own stock.

We support modellers of all gauges, and the club and its members have exhibition layouts in N, OO, HO and O.

Members also receive quarterly copies of the club's fanzine, The Invicta Informant, and access to back issues.

Membership Levels & Subscriptions

Subscriptions are payable annually in January/February:

• Junior (14-17): £20 per annum.
• Senior (18 & Over): £100 per annum.

NB: Children are not considered for membership until they attain the age of 14, but they can attend meetings as guests under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

NB: All individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the clubrooms.

Before taking the plunge and signing-up, we do suggest that anybody interested in joining the EMRS visits the clubrooms on a couple of Wednesdays (between 6:30pm and 9:00pm) just to get to know the members and get a feel of the place.
